Govt clears Rs 10,000 Cr fund for manufacturing tech SMEs

The Union Cabinet has approved a Rs 10,000 Cr SME Growth Fund to support small and medium enterprises in manufacturing and tech sectors. The government will channel this capital through alternative investment funds (AIFs) to foster innovation and business expansion. With the MSME sector contributing over 31% to India's GDP, this funding aims to boost industrial growth and global competitiveness.

केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने मैन्युफैक्चरिंग और टेक्नोलॉजी आधारित एसएमई को बढ़ावा देने के लिए 10,000 करोड़ रुपये का एसएमई ग्रोथ फंड मंजूर किया है। सरकार यह फंड वैकल्पिक निवेश कोष (AIF) के जरिए देगी ताकि छोटे उद्योगों को विस्तार और तकनीक अपनाने में मदद मिल सके। देश की जीडीपी में 31% से अधिक योगदान देने वाले MSME क्षेत्र के लिए यह बड़ा कदम है।
